Client engagements follow no specific formula or template – Marcy designs each consulting engagement to meet expressed client needs. Most often, the nature of the engagement focuses on strategic organizational development. Projects related to organizational culture, team development, organizational learning, and organizational change are most common.
Systematizing Professional Learning & Development
Designed and developed a learning framework for a professional services firm interested in providing ongoing learning and professional development through an on-demand learning platform. Marcy worked closely with the executive leadership team to align the learning framework with the organization’s values and goals while ensuring the learning and professional development scaled to the roles in the organization.
Strategic Advising
Marcy has worked individually with the chief executive officer as well as collectively with the C-Suite to provide consulting and support. Typically, clients benefit from the ongoing strategic advising delivered through regular strategy meetings to timely check-ins.
Specifically, in one such case, Marcy provided ongoing strategic advising to leaders of a start-up business focused on creating and sustaining the organizational culture. The work focused on ensuring that declared values-based actions drove effective team dynamics, hiring and supervision practices, on the job performance, and innovative thinking.
Data-Gathering
Marcy facilitated a data-gathering process to inform C-suite decision makers on structural reorganization of services and offices. This type of engagement provides the client with real-time insights, opportunities to engage stakeholders, and timely support in strategic decision-making, stakeholder engagement, and communication.
